Is Canadian agriculture ready to manage and mitigate risk?

The agriculture and agri-food sector faces significant risks from weather, markets, and value-chain disruptions. While optimism is a vital component of the sector’s success, there is a need for a heavy dose of realism in an increasingly complex and changing world. A clear strategy is critical to ensure the sector reaches its full potential in tackling the challenges ahead.
Following the publication of CAPI’s inaugural Risk Report CAPI is hosting an Ag Policy Exchange with leaders in the sector to debate whether Canadian agriculture is ready to manage and mitigate the risks facing the sector.
This webinar is funded in part by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership’s AgriCompetitiveness Program and supported by the Global Institute for Food Security.
