Industry Implications of Evolving Consumer Behaviour

This suite of work reflects research undertaken by CAPI in partnership with Darcie Doan Consulting and the Canadian Centre for Food Integrity (CCFI) in 2023 and 2024. Research included existing literature on consumer attitudes about food in Canada, quantitative analysis of CCFI annual survey data, and conducting interviews. The outcomes of this research can help inform both government and industry stakeholders to understand how consumer attitudes and behaviour are expected to evolve in the medium term, and associated implications for the Canadian agri-food sector.
