Should Canadian Agriculture Prioritize Emissions Reduction to meet Net-Zero by 2050 Targets?
Canadian agriculture and food face big challenges with the potential for very different solutions that lead to very different outcomes for the sector. None of those solutions or outcomes may be the right one, and dialogue and debate are essential to getting better policy outcomes. Instead of shying away from thoughtful debate, the sector should embrace it.
To advance CAPI’s mission of advancing policy solutions, this webinar series offers a platform for respectful debate and dialogue to explore diverse perspectives on critical policy issues. In this webinar, a panel of thought leaders from the sector including Dr. Rupp Carriveau, Nick Betts, Dr. Caroline Halde, and Dr. Al Mussell came together to offer their viewpoint on a critical challenge before moving into a more in-depth dialogue.
This webinar was funded in part by Scotiabank’s Net-Zero Research Fund and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership’s AgriAssurance Program.
