CAPI’s Policies for Land Use, Agriculture and Nature (PLAN) Policy Network held its second meeting on October 30, 2024. The policy network consists of a diverse group of stakeholders across Canada’s agri-food sector, that convene monthly to discuss improving Canada’s agricultural and land use policies. The meeting consisted of presentations from:

• Monica Hadarits, Executive Director, Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef
• Martin Straathof, Executive Director, Ontario Farmland Trust
• Michael Twigg, Program Director, Land-use, Nature, Agriculture, Smart Prosperity Institute
