Positioning Canada for an unfolding trade world

In this new trade environment, countries are competing with one another to be the first to secure free or at least preferential access to the world's major markets. As well, it's not just tariffs that are important. Other non-tariff and regulatory issues confront exporters. Plus, "what the consumer wants drives everything." An integrated view of trade issues and opportunities is represented below.
