  PROJECT 6b: TALENT, SKILLS AND PEOPLE: ENABLING INNOVATION IN FOOD PROCESSING
One of the issues facing the food manufacturing sector has to do with labour, skills and talent. There is considerable complexity around addressing these matters and they are not necessarily unique to food manufacturing. Given that food manufacturing is the largest manufacturing sector in Canada by employment, we want to ensure that processors have access to the labour and highly-skilled people they need to remain viable, innovative and competitive
